Cookie Dough

Cookie dough is awarded to any girl who
sells over 50 boxes of cookies.
Schedule of earnings is listed on order card.

Bonus cookie dough is earned when girls sell 500+ packages of cookies.

General information:

  • Cookie Dough can only be shared with a registered Girl Scout sibling in a household.
  • Cookie Dough is not cumulative and does expire on Sept. 15, 2013.
  • Cookie Dough can be used to pay for GSGI-sponsored activities held after the card's expiration date, if the event is paid for in full by September 15, 2013.

Cookie Dough is to be used by girls for:

  • GSGI-sponsored activities, events, and series listed in the Program Book.
  • Registration fees for any GSGI camp listed in the Camp Poster.
  • Register fees for any trip or travel opportunity listed in the Program Book.
  • Purchasing items from the GSGI shop or Trading Post, or GSGI online shop.

Due to IRS guidelines limiting the way girls can receive credit for product sales, Cookie Dough may not be used for:

  • Non-GSGI-sponsored activities, events, and series.
  • Annual membership fees.
  • Deposit fees for camp or travel.
  • Purchases through other Girl Scout Councils or Girl Scouts of the USA shops, websites, or catalogs.

New for 2013! We are excited to announce a partnership with two neighboring Girl Scouts Councils to give girls more opportunity to use Cookie Dough.

  • Girl Scouts of Eastern Iowa & Western Illinois will allow GSGI Cookie Dough cards to be used for their Summer Camp programs.
  • Girl Scouts Spirit of Nebraska will allow GSGI Cookie Dough cards to be used for their Council-sponsored programs and Summer Camp programs (including Trading Posts.)

Bonus Cookie Dough can be used for:

Any camp listed in our GSGI camp book.

Any travel opportunity listed in the GSGI program book.
