Cookie Dough

Cookie Dough is non-cumulative and is rewarded to every registered Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa Girl Scout who sells 50 packages or more.

General information:

  • Cookie Dough is an earned recognition and can only be shared with a registered Girl Scout sibling within the same household.
  • Cookie Dough cannot be used for membership dues or deposit fees.
  • Cookie Dough is not cumulative and does expire on Sept. 15, 2014.
  • Cookie Dough can be used to pay for GSGI-sponsored activities held after the card's expiration date, if the event is paid for in full by September 15, 2014.

Cookie Dough is to be used by girls for:

  • GSGI-sponsored events, trips, and series listed in a GSGI Program Book
  • GSGI resident camp or outdoor programs listed in the GSGI Camp Book
  • Purchasing items from a GSGI shop or GSGI Online shop
  • For additional information about Cookie Dough

Due to IRS guidelines limiting the way girls can receive credit for product sales, Cookie Dough may not be used for:

  • Non-GSGI-sponsored activities, events, and series.
  • Annual membership fees.
  • Deposit fees for camp or travel.
  • Purchases through other Girl Scout Councils or Girl Scouts of the USA shops, websites, or catalogs.

We are excited to announce a partnership with two neighboring Girl Scouts Councils to give girls more opportunity to use Cookie Dough.

  • Girl Scouts of Eastern Iowa & Western Illinois will allow GSGI Cookie Dough cards to be used for their Summer Camp programs.
  • Girl Scouts Spirit of Nebraska will allow GSGI Cookie Dough cards to be used for their Council-sponsored programs and Summer Camp programs (including Trading Posts.)
