Girl Scout membership dues are non-refundable and non-transferrable to another person.
If you need to transfer a membership to or from another Girl Scout council, please email info@gsiowa.org.
Returns are accepted in-store at the retail shop within 90 days of the original purchase, provided items are in resalable condition.
Additional guidelines:
Returned purchases will be credited in the manner they were paid. (Ex. A debit card purchase will be credited back to your debit card.)

Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa Retail Hold Policy
Unpaid retail items will be held in the Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa shops for up to 10 business days. If items are not picked up by the customer after 10 business days and arrangements have not been made with a Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa staff member, items will be returned to shop inventory.
Paid retail items* will be held in the Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa shops for up to 20 business days. If items are not picked up by the customer after 20 business days and arrangements have not been made with a Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa staff member, items will be returned to shop inventory and customer forfeits payment in full.
Items held for pick up under Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa’s Product Program and Community Troops will be subject to this policy.
*Paid retail items may include, but are not limited to, items ordered and paid
for via phone call or in-person if an out of stock item was ordered.
Lost and found
Items lost and found at GSGI events or offices will be held for 30 days, then donated.

Refunds for GSGI program event registrations will be issued if the cancellation request is received at least 10 days prior to the event start date. No refunds will be issued if a registration is cancelled less than 10 days prior to the event start date.
Additional Guidelines
To request a refund:
A full camp refund (minus the non-refundable deposit) is issued if the cancellation request is received at least 4 weeks prior to the camp session start date. All cancellation requests must be sent via email to info@gsiowa.org and should include camper’s name, camp location, camp session name, and session
start date.
Additional Guidelines:
All GSGI trips will include a detailed payment schedule, including refund information. Once transportation and accommodations have been secured for a trip, the amount of a refund will vary based on how close the trip is, and what vendor fees GSGI has already paid.
To request a refund:
Refunds for facility rentals will only be made if cancellation is made at least 7 days prior to the rental date.
